Vittal Shetty
Vittal born and raised in Bangalore, India and learned to appreciate the food and cooking at an early age. He pursued this passion and consequently got his bachelor’s degree in Hotel management from Bangalore University and got formally trained in OCLD one of the finest chef schools in Asia. He then therefore spent his culinary training in various hotels of Oberoi group in various positions and kitchens.
After that, he spent 12 years with Amber in San Jose and was responsible for running it successfully. He presents the menu with “think outside the box “approach, by marrying traditional & authentic cooking techniques using seasonal, local, modern day trends & experimenting with new versions of contemporary styles. -
Cambodian Food
Channy Laux
Channy Laux was born in Cambodia and survived the Cambodian genocide before coming to the US as a teenage refugee in 1979. But she did not know a word of English. Therefore she did not give up her goal. She worked tirelessly to achieve her American dream. Then after earning MS and BS degrees in mathematics and computer science, Channy spent 30 years working as an engineer in the aerospace and biotech industries. After that, with a longing to carry forward her mother’s legacy, Channy walked away from the security of the corporate world to therefore dedicate herself to follow in her mother’s footsteps. In addition, she had a desire of spreading love and sharing food that brings joy to everyone.
With this commitment, Chef Channy started Angkor Cambodian Food, which manufactures Cambodian cooking sauces and pastes in the USA as well as provide rare Cambodian herbs grown in California by refugee farmers and import rare spices from Cambodia such as Kampot Pepper and Thnot Sugar. In conclusion, when you take a bite of out of Channy’s meal , you’ll know what a “real” Cambodian home chef meals tastes likeHer dream above all is for you to enjoy what she has to offer!! -

Jeerisuda (“Pia”) a Thai native and a qualified chef has been in the kitchen since childhood. Learning the traditional techniques at a young age from her mother and grandmother, Pia uses only fresh ingredients in her cooking.
In addition, She creates all her dishes and curries from scratch, remaining faithful to the authentic flavors her cuisine deserves. Pia’s menu covers the North Eastern region of Isaan both well-known classic Thai dishes, as well as the rustic, herby Isaan cuisine. -

Dharti Talsania
Dharti decided to pursue her passion for cooking and learning new culinary skills at a very young age. With backing from mentors like her mother and grandmother, her gastronomic skills gained recognition very quickly among friends and family so much that she was the “in-house” consultant when peers and other family members wanted to experiment with new dishes. She brings many of those skills to Chefside in her menus. We hope you like her authentic creations and support her growth.
